Exit 2

We are located just off Exit 2 on I-370 and the new InterCounty Connector (Route 200).

From all directions

  • Take Exit 2 North to Route 355
  • Bear left on 355, then turn LEFT on South Westland Drive, then EITHER immediate RIGHT into Good Shepherd parking lot OR immediate LEFT into the Casey Institute lot (Sundays only, please).

From the East (Olney)

Just get on the new 200 toll road and take Exit 2 North. We are only 9.2 miles (12 minutes) away!

From the North (Germantown and Frederick)

Exit 9
  • From I-270, take Exit 9 (I-370)
  • Bear to the left, taking 9A toward Metro Station/Gaithersburg
  • Take Exit 2 Route 355 North as above

From the South (Rockville, Bethesda and Washington, DC)

Exit 9A-B
  • From I-270, take Exit 9A-B onto I-370 East toward Metro Station
  • Take Exit 2 Route 355 North as above

Parking

Limited parking is available in the lot adjacent to our building. On Sundays only, ample parking is also available directly across from the Good Shepherd main entrance at the Casey Institute. A little farther away, if you are willing and able, you may also park at Walnut Hill Shopping Plaza across Rt. 355, or at Rosemont Elementary School, 1 block past the church on S. Westland.

Good Shepherd Parking in Casey Lot

On Sundays, the Casey Institute is generously providing access to their large lots right across from Good Shepherd's main entrance. This is very close and provides easy access. Please, this is available only on Sundays. Thank-you.

For Large Events

Additional parking is available north of Good Shepherd at Epworth Methodist Church. From S. Westland turn right on Alden, driving ½ block to the lot entrance on the right. Walk back to GS via Alden, Rt. 355, or the lawn path between the church lots.

Metro Access via Shady Grove Station on the Red Line

From the Down escalator, exit to the left toward Rt. 355, Frederick Road. Take Bus 55, a cab, or walk approximately 1 mile north to Good Shepherd on the left.
