Good Shepherd provides a variety of Sunday School programs that allow all ages to grow in faith together. Classes meet each Sunday during the school year from 10:15-11:15am.

During the summer and on certain holidays, there are sometimes special programs during the Sunday school hour.

Find a Class

Adult sessions on many topics are available for adults of all ages.

Children's classes are determined by the child's age or grade on September 1st.

We currently have classes grouped by the following ages:

• Nursery-aged children
• Preschoolers who are at least 3 and potty-trained
• Kindergartners
• Elementary kids in Grades 1-5
• Middle School Youth have Confirmation Classes
• High School Youth
• Adults

2013 Key Events

• January 20, 27 and February 3 — 1st Communion Classes (for 1st Graders and older) occur during the Sunday School hour.
• February 3 — Souper Bowl Sunday Youth Services about outreach to the hungry.
• February 10 — First Communion Brunch at 10:15 a.m. and Service at 11:30 a.m. worship.
• February 13 — Ash Wednesday Family Service.
• March 27 — Family Holy Week Event.
• March 31 — NO SUNDAY SCHOOL: Attend Easter Worship with family!
• May 12 — Baccalaureate Service to celebrate High School Seniors.
• May 19 — Confirmation celebration during the 11:30 a.m. service only.
• May 26 — Kids’ Sunday School classes join for a community service project of packing School Bags for Lutheran World Relief.
• June 9 — Last Day of regular Sunday School classes.
• Sundays of June 23 through August 25 - Summer Sunday School
• August 5-9 - Vacation Bible School
